Terms & Conditions of Hire and Liability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral, whether the booking is made through kkbouncycastleswirral.co.uk, wirralbouncycastlekandk.co.uk, by telephone, email, social media, or any other booking method.
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, references to "K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral", "we", "our", or "us" refer to the same business operating under both websites listed above.
By hiring equipment from K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. The person making the booking is deemed to be the Hirer and accepts full responsibility for ensuring these conditions are followed throughout the hire period.
Liability
Whilst every inflatable is regularly inspected, cleaned and maintained to a high standard before delivery, all equipment is used entirely at the Hirer's own risk.
The Hirer is responsible for the safe use of the equipment from the time it is delivered until it is collected. The Hirer must ensure that the inflatable is supervised by a responsible adult at all times whilst in use.
K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral accepts no responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, loss or damage arising from:
- Failure to follow the safety instructions provided.
- Inadequate adult supervision.
- Misuse, reckless behaviour or inappropriate use of the equipment.
- Exceeding the maximum user numbers or age restrictions.
- Failure to prevent unsuitable items or activities on the inflatable.
Nothing within these terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Hirer's Responsibilities
The Hirer agrees to:
- Ensure a responsible adult supervises the inflatable at all times.
- Remove all shoes, glasses, badges, jewellery, keys and sharp objects before use.
- Prevent food, drinks, chewing gum, sweets, smoking, vaping, alcohol, confetti, glitter, silly string, face paint, coloured streamers, pets and any sharp objects from coming into contact with the inflatable.
- Ensure children of significantly different ages or sizes do not use the inflatable together where this may present a risk.
- Prevent climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls of the inflatable.
- Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded and that users take turns safely.
- Prevent anyone from interfering with the blower, electrical cables or extension leads.
- Keep the inflatable inflated at all times during use.
- Contact K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral immediately if any issue or damage occurs.
Care of Equipment
The Hirer is responsible for the equipment whilst it is on hire and agrees to return it in the same clean condition in which it was supplied.
The Hirer accepts responsibility for any loss or damage caused during the hire period, including cleaning costs where equipment is returned excessively dirty due to mud, food, drink, face paints, confetti, glitter, silly string, pet hair or other prohibited substances.
A cleaning charge may be applied where the equipment requires excessive cleaning before its next hire.
Delivery and Collection
Please ensure there is safe, clear access for our staff to deliver and collect the equipment.
At collection time, the inflatable must no longer be in use so our staff can safely dismantle and remove it.
Any personal belongings left on or inside the inflatable remain the responsibility of the Hirer. K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal items.
Weather
For safety reasons, K&K Bouncy Castles Wirral reserves the right to cancel or refuse installation if weather conditions are considered unsafe, including high winds or severe weather.
If weather conditions become unsafe during the hire period, the inflatable must not be used.
Damage
The Hirer accepts responsibility for any damage caused through misuse, negligence or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions and agrees to pay the reasonable cost of repair or replacement where applicable.
Acceptance
By making a booking and accepting delivery of the equipment, the Hirer confirms they have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions for the full duration of the hire.
